Inktober 2021 Day 13: ROOF

Kiki’s Delivery Service is one of my favorite Miyazaki/Ghibli films. I watch it on repeat. It’s a relaxing one for background noise and the message really hits home for me all the time. I’m way older than Kiki and I still struggle to figure out who I am and what I’m going to do with my life. Haha.

Also, the bakery from this movie is really inspiring for me. I love to bake, I’ve worked at a bakery, and I just love carbs. I was torn between Kiki’s roof scene with the blimp and the scene where her and Tombo are hanging her sign. This one actually was my favorite though. When I was younger, I used to sit on the roof of the local church and stare up at the night sky.
