Inktober 52 – Week 3: STRIPES

I said I was behind. So here’s last week’s Inktober. Stripes gave me some issues. And then life is giving me issues too. The step kiddo got exposed and caught COVID from a classmate. I found out from my SO while I was sitting in the car pickup line. Her mom apparently just left the school with her so that was a fun scramble to get out of line. She’ll be quarantining with her mom unless circumstances change.

I shared the silly shapes and coloring picture the other day which was my brainstorming session for this piece. I just honestly couldn’t think of anything specific for stripes until I thought about doing a nature landscape. Birch trees are very stripped to me.

I doodled this on my tablet while I was listening to Bob Ross on Pluto TV. It’s very soothing if you need something to listen to. I’m going to try and work on things while we’re quarantining. (No confirmed cases in my family, but until we’re sure we didn’t catch it, we won’t be going out.) Artwork? Karate? My brain hasn’t picked yet. See you guys tomorrow!
