The Sketchbook

I got a really nice sketchbook from one of my nieces for Christmas and I love it! I haven’t really put any drawings in it yet, because I feel like it only needs some of the best stuff in it. I did take some of my medicine stickers off my bottles and slap them into the cover though. Just for fun.

I guess it’s really going to be a sketchbook collage. I’ve got my color swatches tucked in here and I’ve also put the pamphlet from the art museum in there as well. I think I’ll tuck anything I want to keep art-related into this sketchbook.

My other, less expensive, sketchbook from Walmart is what I use for a lot of my Inktober stuff as well as some paper that my MIL got for me. I decided to make a doodle page for the cover. I just put a bunch of Miyazaki sidekicks together on one page. I’m still playing around with the alcohol-based makers. Not perfect with them. I should probably watch some videos about it.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend! See you for another post tomorrow!
