Ocean of Possibilities

Last year I slacked off and didn’t do the Summer Reading Program at my local library. But this year I think I’m going to tackle it. It looks like there are a ton of fun programs happening at our local library and I’d love to have a good reason to go out. My stepdaughter hasn’t held much interest in going to the library lately so I’ll probably end up going by myself.

Just 3 books for adults are totally doable. I’m going to do this! Also, the papermaking and bookbinding are something I’ve done before so I’d really love to try and do them again. I love this sort of thing that they put together. It’s not actually the library in MY town, it’s the one closer to my stepdaughter’s school and such. My own library here in my own is very small, only one room. I actually need to visit there as well. I think I have some fines I need to pay off from COVID times.

Since the theme is Ocean of Possibilities this year, I wonder if I should pick some Ocean-themed books to read. Or at least play along with that idea. I’m going to hop on Reddit later and ask for a recommendation of books. I’d rather have more than not enough choices. Especially if I can’t find some of the books at the library.

Is anyone else participating in some Summer Reading Programs? What are your Summer plans?
