Get Organized?

I had no idea this was even a show until I checked out two books from the Libby Library app and noticed the Netflix symbol on one of the covers.

I’m going to admit, that I was skeptical of this. The books don’t really explain very well what you need to do. Or maybe I was just reading them while my brain was not in a good organizational mindset. It’s really hard to organize the chaos by yourself. Honestly, I would love it if these ladies came into my home and fixed my room. (I would also have a HUGE anxiety attack having someone touch my things. I’ll admit that wholeheartedly.)

The other day, my MIL was working on paperwork and the Pogles just were making a huge ruckus. It was hard for her to think so I had to take the puppies outside for a runabout then we went back inside. I still couldn’t bring them into their normal space because MIL was there writing. So we ended up on the couch and that’s when I tackled the first few episodes of the show. The show absolutely put the puppies STRAIGHT to sleep. I had one on each side of me, nuzzled into my side, curled up on the couch. They love “watching” television with me.

The few things that I’ve been able to take away from the two books are below:

I think I’m going to have to binge-watch the show to see if any of this sticks. The books are not really helpful for me. Sadly. I’m just so easily distracted by everything.

I want to have a pretty organized room and house and life. I just don’t know if I can achieve it. Maybe it’s also the fact that it’s not something you can get overnight. And every time I try to do something, it always seems to get sabotaged. (I.E. Stepdaughter’s room looks like WW3 despite that huge cleaning and organizing spree I just went through.) I still need to go through the storage unit as well. The deadline is starting to close in on us. I also got some quotes to have the junk hauled off.

Looks like about $300 at the high end. Not horrible. Doable. I just need to start sorting what will come to the house and what will be tossed. There’s so much mental anguish for that. But I do have one quote from these books that have helped me!

Thanks for stopping in today, guys. I’m launching back into cleaning so I’ll see you tomorrow! Which is technically NEXT month/
