More Seminar Footage

Eddie and Danny Satterfield gave a really insightful talk about Sanchin Stances. I’ve uploaded all the video footage I took to an album on Google. I have to say I really enjoyed this one and the information I gathered during this portion of the seminar could have easily taken up most of the day. SanchinContinue reading “More Seminar Footage”

Isshin Ryu Practice

Today we worked on a bunch of blocking techniques involving the elbow as the important focal point. Since you cannot bend theContinue reading “Isshin Ryu Practice”

Last Days of Summer

I don’t know why, but the idea of going to the library today had me so excited I had trouble sleeping. The library is somewhere we can go just about any day, but it still just made me very happy to know we were going. I had to use some opposite action to get upContinue reading “Last Days of Summer”

I suppose to start out, I should address what it’s called and where it originates from. Kanbun Uechi is an OkinawanContinue reading “Uechi Ryu: Forming Habits”
